.1. What does all the detail on my check mean?
Starting at the top left hand corner of the second page:

Sunoco Partners Marketing & Terminal’s return address
Owner name
Owner Number
Payment Date
Payment Number
County and State where lease is located
Lease Name – The name of the well the crude is purchased from
Lease Number – Our tracking number for accounting and payment purposes
Sales Date – Month and year oil was purchased
Product – Product Code designating oil or gas
Volume – Total volume of the product purchased on the lease
Avg Price – Calculated price on current month's sales
Property Gross Value – Total value of sale on that property
State Tax – Severance and other production taxes paid to the State where the Lease is located
Property Net Value – Total Gross value minus all taxes
Owner Interest –owner’s decimal interest in lease. Used to calculate owner's share of property sales and taxes
TI – Identifies Type of Ownership
Owner Gross Value – Owner's share of property gross value prior to any deductions (property gross value multiplied by owner's decimal interest)
State Tax – Owner's share of severance taxes paid on sales (property tax multiplied by owner's decimal interest)
Adj Code – code identifying type of adjustment
Adj Value – the amounts of the adjustment
Owner Net Value – Owner's share of sales after all deductions and adjustments
Totals for Owner columns
Legends identifying type interest from the TI column and reason for adjustments if any appear in the Adj code and value columns

2.  When will I receive my 1099 forms and what if I need an additional copy?
1099's are mailed by January 31st yearly. Effective April 15th, if you require an additional copy, please send a cashier's check or money order for $5.00 for each copy requested. Include your owner name, number, current address, telephone number, and the year for the 1099 requested.

3.  When should I receive my royalty payment? What do I do if I have not received my check?
For questions regarding royalty payments, call the Royalty Hotline at 281-637-6358 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM until 3:00 PM (CST) Monday through Thursday and 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM (CST) Friday.
Royalty Payments are mailed from Raleigh, North Carolina. If you are interested in receiving your payment via direct deposit on the 27th of the month, please call the Royalty Hotline at 281-637-6358.

4.  Who do I contact if I want to sell my crude oil to Sunoco Marketing & Terminals?
Please notify the crude oil representative in your local unit office:

5.  What do I need to do in the event of a death or transfer in ownership?
For change of ownership due to death, please furnish copies of all documents associated with the transfer, including death certificate, wills, probate, final decrees or any other applicable documents.
For transfer of ownership interest, please send a copy of the assignment and/or deed which has been recorded in the county where the property is located.

6.  What do I need to do to sell or transfer my interest?
Please send a copy of the assignment and/or deed which has been recorded in the county where the property is located.

7.  What procedure should I follow to change my address for ownership or tax identification number?
Change of address for ownership or tax identification numbers must be requested in writing. Please mail or fax notification including owner number, new address, date, and owner's signature.

8.  Who do I contact if there is a change of operator and/or purchaser?
Please notify the crude oil representative in you local unit office.

9.  What is the interest on my property worth?
Due to the many variables involved in determining the estimated value of a property, we do not provide such valuations. We suggest that you contact the operator or an oil and gas land broker in the area where the property is located in order to obtain this type of valuation.
