Safe digging when in proximity to the Sunoco Pipeline and/or facilities

It is fact that not all State One Call Laws have requirements that address Planned Excavations. In an effort to mitigate potential conflicts with our pipelines Sunoco Pipeline L.P, Inland Marine, Mid Valley Pipeline and West Texas Gulf Pipeline have a specific process and procedures that must be followed to ensure the safety of our underground facilities, the community, and any third parties working within the easements or ROW of our facilities.

Work that requires planned excavations must submit a full set of construction plans to Sunoco Logistics One Call Department at sxldesignreviews@sunocologistics.com .  The submitted plans will be reviewed for conflicts related to the Pipeline right of way. Encroachment to Company owned ROW is not permitted without written permission authorized by Sunoco Logistics Right of Way department.

Submitted construction plans must adhere to the Sunoco Logistics Engineering and Construction Guidelines in order for the plans to be considered for review.  Following the guidelines will ensure a thorough and timely review.  Plans that are missing any required elements will delay the process until an acceptable set of Construction plans are submitted and approved for review.

Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-888-786-3260 and we will assist you anyway we can to help you through the Planned Excavation Review process.
