Eastern Pipeline System
Our Eastern Pipeline System primarily serves Sunoco, Inc.(R&M)'s Northeast and Midwest U.S. operations and consists of:
- approximately 1,647 miles of refined product pipelines. Our refined product
pipelines transport refined products from Sunoco, Inc. (R&M)'s Philadelphia, PA,
Marcus Hook, PA, Eagle Point, NJ, and Toledo, OH refineries, as well as from third
parties, to markets in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan. The
refined products transported in these pipelines include multiple grades of gasoline,
middle distillates (such as heating oil, diesel, and jet fuel), liquified petroleum gases (such as
propane and butane), refining feedstocks, and other hydrocarbons.
- a 123-mile wholly owned crude oil pipeline, from Maryville, Michigan to
refineries in the Toledo, Ohio area, including a Sunoco, Inc. owned refinery,
- a 9.4% interest in Explorer Pipeline Company, a joint venture that owns and
operates a 1,413-mile common carrier refined product pipeline. The system
originates from refineries in Texas and Louisiana and terminates in the Chicago

- a 31.5% interest in Wolverine Pipe Line Company, a joint venture that owns and
operates a 721-mile common carrier refined product pipeline, that originates from
refineries in the Chicago area and extends east to Detroit and into nothern Michigan.

- a 12.3% interest in West Shore Pipe Line Company, a joint venture that owns and
operates a 652-mile common carrier refined product pipeline, that originates from
refineries in the Chicago area to Madison and Green Bay Wisconsin; and
- a 14.0% interest in Yellowstone Pipe Line Company, a joint venture that owns
and operates a 655-mile common carrier refined product pipeline that originates
from refineries in the Billings, Montana area to Moses Lake, Washington.

Terminal Facilities
Our Terminal Facilities consist of:

35 inland refined product terminals with an aggregate storage capacity of
5.9 million barrels, primarily serving our Eastern Pipeline System.

The Marcus Hook Tank Farm is a 2.0 million barrel refined product terminal,

The Nederland Terminal, our largest,
is an 12.5 million barrel marine crude oil terminal on the Texas Gulf Coast,

The Fort Mifflin Terminal Complex, located on the Delaware River, consists of one
inland and two marine crude oil terminals, with a combined capacity of 3.6 million
barrels, and related pipelines, and

The Eagle Point Terminal Complex, located on the Delaware River, in New Jersey,
serves Sunoco, Inc.'s Eagle Point Refinery. It consists of docks which receive
crude oil and ships out refined product, a refined product truck loading rack,
and a pipeline which connects to the Harbor pipeline, and

The Inkster Terminal, located near Detroit, Michigan, which consists of eight salt
caverns having a storage capacity of roughly 1.0 million barrels.

Western Pipeline System
Our Western Pipeline System primarily serves: Oklahoma, West Texas, the Texas Gulf Coast, and East Texas operations of Sunoco, Inc. (R&M) and comprises approximately:
- 3,115 miles of crude oil trunk pipelines,
- 520 miles of crude oil gathering lines,
- 116 crude oil transport trucks,
- 130 crude oil truck unloading facilities,
- a 43.8% interest in West Texas Gulf Pipe Line Company, a joint venture that owns and operates a 580-mile crude oil pipeline, and which is operated by the Partnership, and
- a 37.0% undivided interest in the 80-mile Mesa Pipe Line System
